Brothers Win 4th Consecutive Peterson Seven undergraduates and two of our alumni headed to Chapel Hill, North Carolina from July 30th-August 1st for the annual Balfour Leadership Training Workshop (BLTW). Brothers learned different leadership skills to bring back to the Eta PSi chapter. Also, the announcement of several awards, including the Peterson Significant Chapter Award, was an exciting part of the trip. Eta Psi has received the prestigious Peterson Significant Chapter award for four consecutive years now; one of only 4 chapters in the World to do so. Thanks to all those who worked hard on the Peterson application and all of the brothers for their hard work over the past year.

Friendship, Justice, and
Learning
The Eta Psi Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity was
established on May 7, 1977 and quickly emerged as one of the most recognized
and distinguished Greek organizations at Clemson. We
have won several awards on campus as well as the Peterson Award, which is a
national award given to the most outstanding Sigma Chi chapters.
While many of our brothers assume
leadership positions on campus, the Chapter is committed to maintaining a
strong brotherhood and providing service to the Clemson community. As Sigma
Chi's our brothers are held to much higher standards than other men. Through
Sigma Chi our brothers follow their dreams, keeping ever mindful of the
friendships and experiences they gained as undergraduates of the Eta Psi
Chapter.
Brothers Bring Home Second Intra-Fraternal Cup
We received the third annual Interfraternity Council Cup. Each year one chapter is selected by a committee composed of IFC executive members and our Greek advisors to receive the prestigious award. We are proud to have received the Cup in 2007 and now this year. We hope to keep it in our hands in the years to come. Thanks to all the members of the Eta Psi chapter, especially those on the Executive Committee who have put countless hours into bettering the chapter and the brotherhood as a whole.
Awarded Chapter of Merit The office of Fraternity and Sorority Life issues an application to become a Chapter of Excellence. There are five different areas that chapter's apply on and a chapter receiving excellence in all five areas is denoted a Chapter of Excellence. A chapter receiving recognition in four areas is considered a Chapter of Acheivement. A chapter receiving recognition in three of the areas is a Chapter of Merit. This year Eta Psi received the Chapter of Merit recognition for excellence in social policy requirements, responsible citizenship and defined and organized recruitment. Congratulations brothers!

Twelve Eta Psi undegraduate brothers gathered, including our Faculty Advisor and Chapter Advisor, in hopes of receiving recognition for all of the hard work put forth in the past year. They were not dissappointed as Eta Psi was selected as the Order of Omega; 2007-2008 Chapter of the Year!!! Criteria included; risk-management, recruitment, academics, community service, philanthropy and many more. Also, brother Clayton Blackston received this year's "Un-sung Hero Award," given to the member of the Greek community who put forth the most effort to better their chapter without an elected office. Congratulations go out to the Eta Psi chapter and to Brother Clayton!

2009-2010 School Year Draws to an End The 2009-2010 school year has been a great success for us here at Eta Psi. We thank all of those who have been involved in the hard work along the way and we look forward to continued success. We would like to thank our Chapter Advisor, Steve Lineberger, Faculty Advisor Bob Bowen, and Housing Corps President, Stan O'Brien. Without their continued support, along with other alumni involved, we would not be where we are today. If you are an alumni, Eta Psi or not, you can find more information by getting on our Alumni page. We need alumni brothers to help with initiation, recruitment, our new alumni big-brother program, and just to stop by a tailgate or alumni event for some brotherhood. It is never too late to get involved.
